MILITARY TRAINING

Mind-Body Armor

Building resilient soldiers.

Strategy and well-being begins with the mind.

The “Mind-Body Campaign” aims at a clear strategic solution to a systemic issue: shift in focus from illness to well-being that begins with the mind.

Start crafting minds

Mindfulness shows efficacy across several mental health psychopathologies including depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and substance abuse, attention disorders, traumatic stress, dysregulated eating, and serious mental illness

(Wielgosz et al., 2019)

Optimize your most valuable resources.

Everyday time, money, and attention are wasted due to overwhelmed, unfocused and tired teams.

Research shows that mental training such as effective mindfulness training develops attention keeping people on task with less effort. It also enhances creativity by reducing fear of judgment and self-conscious thinking while increasing our curiosity, open-mindedness and relaxed concentration.

The ROI (return on investment) for team leaders is clear - investment in mindfulness based wellness programs produces more productivity, perceived sense of wellbeing, team cohesion and emotional resilience.

Six randomized controlled trials, two controlled studies, and five pre-post observational studies reported MBIs as an effective intervention strategy for suicidal behavior. (Raj, S., et al., 2020)

Of Veterans Reported A Positive Effect From Mindfulness Training

Mindfulness is a low-cost, accessible and group friendly intervention.

(Cramer et al., 2016; Jayawardene et al., 2017; Mental Health America, 2021)

Mindfulness is delivering powerful results

Mindfulness has a large body of clinical research showing efficacy across several mental health psychopathologies including depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and substance abuse, attention disorders, traumatic stress, dysregulated eating, and serious mental illness (Wielgosz et al., 2019). It has been found to be an acceptable (Herrmann et al., 2020) and effective intervention with the veteran population (Goldberg et al., 2020).

Dr. William Jackson

Dr. William Jackson is a clinical psychologist, meditation teacher, and the founder and CEO of SkillfulMeans. While meditating as a monk in remote jungle huts for 12 to 14 hours a day, William developed a fascination with how people living fully engaged modern lives could experience the life-changing benefits of meditation.
